Hi, I’m Chris, an entrepreneur, software developer and a co-founder of Sprigo, a service for hiring professional contractors.

Let’s see, what can I tell you about myself… Early in my life I decided that the world is too big, diverse and wonderful to stay in one place, so I traveled a lot and ended up living and working in 6 countries on 3 continents. Before determining that software development is my favourite thing to do, I tried a variety of other professions. I worked as a layout artist in a publishing company, a video editor at a TV station, a technician in my own audio recording studio, a translator and a kindergarten teacher. I taught English as a second language and earned a living by doing country and flamenco music gigs with my wife :) .

I’m very happy that that I got to experience all those things. They helped me to find my niche and to live life to the full.

Besides that, I use Linux, my favourite colour is black, my office is filled with live plants and my philosophy on the essence of life is very extended. To quote Allen James: “The world, the body, the personality are mirages upon the desert of time; transitory dreams in the dark night of spiritual slumber, and those who have crossed the desert, those who are awakened, have alone comprehended the universal reality where all appearances are dispersed and dreaming and delusion are destroyed.”
