I'm a software developer with over 15 years of experience. I lived and worked in 6 countries on 3 continents, speak 5 (human) languages and, of course, many programming languages besides. My recent milestones achievements were the creation and deployment of InfoStore, a comprehensive library management suite of 8 desktop applications with over 15 thousand users worldwide, and the development of Amika CMS, a fully-featured multi-lingual framework for web site management (this website runs on Amika).

I'm currently working on creating a new freelancing system for hiring on-line professionals called Sprigo. Before settling down to do what I like best: programming and multi-lingual web development, I gained experience in a variety of fields and professions. I worked as a layout artist in a publishing company, a video editor in a TV station, taught English as a second language and managed a variety of humanitarian relief efforts and mission projects. I'm also a musician and a studio technician. I managed my own audio recording studio for several years.

My preferred development languages are Qt C++ and PHP. I like clean code and I adhere to high standards when writing it. I admire professionalism in every sphere of life, be it programming, music or photography. Even if something is not my cup of tea, I can appreciate the skill that was needed to create it.

On a personal note, I live in Italy with my wife and two children. I believe life should be enjoyed and lived to the full and that fulfillment comes from finding peace with yourself and your surroundings. To quote Allen James: "The world, the body, the personality are mirages upon the desert of time; transitory dreams in the dark night of spiritual slumber, and those who have crossed the desert, those who are spiritually awakened, have alone comprehended the Universal Reality where all appearances are dispersed and dreaming and delusion are destroyed."
